Mongols Visit Peaceful; Some Arrests Made

There was a time in years gone by when the City of Palm Springs hosted an official Bikers Weekend.

Police always beefed up patrols around town in those days just in case.

They did the same thing this past weekend, September 20th through the 22nd 2024.

That’s when more than 1-thousand Mongols hopped on their hogs and rode into town.

And 23 of them were arrested in the first couple of days.

While there were no major incidents, the arrests were for drug and weapons, and parole violations, and warrants.
