Marilyn Moving….By March….2025

There is a formal statement from the Mayor of Palm Springs regarding the Forever Marilyn statue.  

Yes, the giant blonde babe is on the move, but it will take her a while to get to her new home just a few long strides from where you currently lives on Museum Way.

Here is the quote from Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein:

The City of Palm Springs would like to advise the community that the long-standing dispute with the Committee to Relocate Marilyn has been settled — and it has been agreed upon that the sculpture will be relocated to the Downtown Park.

“P.S. Resorts and the Committee to Relocate Marilyn have identified a highly visible and safe location in the Downtown Park that satisfies all parties involved.” 

“The move is anticipated to occur no later than March 1st of 2025.”
