Man On The Run After Firing Gunshots At A Deputy

A man wanted for trying to kill a Riverside County Sheriffs Deputy on May 14th 2024, is still on the run.
The deputy was making a trffic stop in Jurupa Valley, when Martin Perez Jr refused to stop his car, entered a dirt access road and fired gunshots at the deputy.
Perez then ditched his car and ran into the dry Santa Ana river bed.
The deputy was not hurt.
