Lots Of Questions Surrounding Corona Shooting

Police in Los Angeles and Corona are investigating a weekend shooting at a Costco Store in Corona that left one person dead and 2 critically hurt.

 

It happened at 7:45 Friday night June 14th, as an off-duty Los Angeles Police Officer was shopping with his family, and holding his young child.

 

The early investigation shows 32 year old Kenneth French of Riverside attacked the officer.

 

The officer pulled out his gun, shooting and killing French and injuring French’s parents.

 

French’s family says French was mentally disabled, and had to be monitored.

 

He had no weapon on him when he attacked the officer.

The officer suffered minor injuries.  His child was not hurt.
