La Quinta Man Jailed For Attempted Murder At Popular Indio Lounge

It was Wednesday night February 15th 2023, 17 minutes before midnight when Indio Police were called to Neil’s Lounge on Highway 111 to investigate a disturbance and a report of someone being shot.

The staff at Neil’s Lounge and the the customers were holding 44 year old Jose Ulloa of La Quinta and handed him over to police.

He is facing a charge of attempted murder.

Police have confiscated one firearm.

First responders rushed one gunshot victim to the hospital, and that person is in critical condition.
