L-A Area Man Arrested For Sexual Assault; He Met The Victim Online

Sheriffs deputies have arrested a man who sexually assaulted a young girl back on August 12th 2024 in Temecula.

Deputies spoke with the victim as she was being treated at a hospital in Western Riverside County.

She told deputies she was assaulted just before midnight on Winchester Road in Temecula.

The suspect, 31 year old Andrey Raymundo Tovar Serrato, of La Puente, intially contacted the victim online, for the purpose of having sex with her, according to the Sheriffs Dept.

Serrato was arrested on August 27th 2024 in La Puente which is east of Los Angeles, just south of Covina, west of Pomona. Serrato is in jail charged with  multiple sexual crimes and furnishing cannabis to a minor.
