A desperate effort to get murderers in California released from prison early, has fallen flat in the California Legislature.
SB 94 has been pulled from the agenda and won’t be voted on.
The bill, crafted by Demcorats in Sacramento, would have given convicted killers sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, the chance to get parole after they served just 25 years of their life sentence.
All murderers would have been eligible, including those who tortured their victims, killed jurors and judges, were involved in a murder for hire scheme, or killed for money or racial reasons.
