A 44-year-old convicted murderer has been murdered at Ironwood State Prison in Blythe.

Henry Reyes got into an altercation on Saturday February 13th 2021 in his cell he shared with another inmate.

Reyes sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital, but died on Monday February 15th 2021.

The cellmate, who was already in prison, is now in the  isolation ward.

Investigators have no motive for the killing and have found no weapons in the cell where Reyes was living.

Reyes has been serving his prison sentence since July 2014.
