Kaiser Permanente Reaches Deal With Its Workers

Kaiser Permanente,  the largest health care provider in California, has finalized a multi-year contract with its workers.

Kaiser Permanente and the labor unions representing 85-thousand healthcare workers nationwide have agreed on a four year deal.  The workers are getting a 21% pay raise over 4 years,  and it is retroactive to October 1st 2023.

Staffing shortages which the union has been complaining about are being addressed by Kaiser. 

Employees will also get some expanded education and career development perks.
