Inmate Found Dead; Cellmate Facing Murder Charge

An inmate at the West Valley Detention Center is facing charges, after killing his cellmate.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the incident happened Sunday morning May 1st 2023 just before 5 a.m. at the Rancho Cucamonga Jail.
Fifty-six-year-old Adam Adams was found dead in the cell.
Twenty-six-year-old Marco Antonio Lopez-Hernandez has been booked on suspicion of murder as investigators try and determine the motive.
