Indio Man Jailed For Murder Following Weekend Shooting

Early Saturday morning,  August 24th 2024 around 2:30  Indio Police  were called to Jennifer Court, near Miles Avenue and Clinton Street, a couple blocks from John F Kennedy Elementary School.   

They were checking of a report of gunfire, and found man lying on the ground in front of a house.

He had been shot.

23 year old Carlos Arriaga was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs and died 5 hours later.

Police arrested 21 year old Ruben Molina of Indio on Avenue 44 around noon Saturday August 24th 2024.  He is facing a murder charge.
