Indio Adding Downtown Vigor

There is now a 7 year lease agreement in place paving the way for 3 restaurants in downtown Indio.

The City Council has approved the language of the lease agreement with local development partners.

In phase one you’ll see some new restaurants at Miles Avenue and Towne Street…a grill and taphouse, a sushi restaurant, and a bar, some offering outdoor dining and entertainment.

In phase two, another eatery will open, along with some retail stores.

But first, there will be some upgrades made to the  property, which is owned by the city.

Indio is already looking for promoters and entertainers who want to perform at venues in that area of town.
