Homeless People Have A New Facility For Overnight Stays

To help beat the summer heat, homeless people in Palm Springs will be able to stay overnight at the Palm Springs Access Center starting June 1st 2023.

The Center is on El Cielo Road, across the street from Palm Springs International Airport.

Martha’s Village and Kitchen has been offering daytime services there on a contract with the City.  It’s  the old Palm Springs Boxing Club location.

Now Martha’s will team up with Riverside County, to offer 20 beds, first-come, first-served to people who need a place to sleep.

The overnight service will run 7 nights a week from June 1st through September 30th 2023.

It’ll operate from 4:30 in the afternoon until 7:30 in the morning.

Breakfast and dinner will also be served for the people staying there.

Hygiene items will be available.
