Hittin’ The Road In Tesla’s In Coachella

They’ll be riding in style in Coachella.

The City of Coachella will be spending more than 1 million tax dollars from California taxpayers, allocated to the city through State of CA grants, to buy 17 Tesla’s costing more than 60-thousand dollars each.

The City will offer them for use as rideshare vehicles through the Latino Equity Advocacy Program or LEAP.

You could catch a ride to school or the doctor’s office, or even a job interview.

It’ll all be available through an app in 2024.
