Hefty Price Tags At Cotino In Rancho Mirage

The wall around the Cotino Disney-themed development in Rancho Mirage will prevent you from seeing the 7-figure price tag homes on the other side of the wall.

But there is one way to see the homes priced at 2 million dollars and up.

Show them the money. 

How much money?

A quick check of the numbers shows that you will need 4-hundred-thousand dollars for a 20% down payment, then you can get a mortgage for the remaining 1.6 million dollars.

If you have enough money to afford the down payment, odds are your income is too high for you to  qualify for home assistance programs geared toward people with low-incomes.

Even homes in the 55+ section of Cotino, named Longtable Park, sell for more than 1 million dollars, in the upper $1 millions according to Cotino brochures.

You can buy some properties at Cotino for a bit less than one million dollars, but you would have to settle for a condo type property overlooking Cotino Bay, not a single family home.
