Gena Rowlands Passes

Actress Gena Rowlands has died, losing a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Twenty years ago, Rowlands played a character named Allie in a box office hit called “The Notebook”.   In that movie, Allie suffered from Alzheimer’s.

Gena Rowlands, who garnered a Golden Globe, and Emmy Award and an Honorary Oscar Award, was 94. 

She passed away at her home in Indian Wells CA on Wednesday August 14th 2024.
