Gasoline Storage Moving Toward Reality In California

In Special Session in Sacramento, the California General Assembly is advancing a proposal by Governor Gavin Newsom to force the few oil companies left in California, to stockpile gasoline in case refineries are shut down due to malfunction or maintenance.
If the bill gets final approval, the California State Senate would then be called into Special Session to vote on the measure.
The Governor insists this action will keep gasoline prices from spiking.
