While gasoline prices did drop significantly earlier this year,  they are on the rise again.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County  has gone up 35 times in the past 37 days, now just shy of 3 dollars per gallon.

Crude oil prices have been fluctuating wildly on Wall Street which have added to the volatility of prices.

California is now using its summer blend of gasoline, and the twice a year switch between the summer blend and winter blend of fuel, always comes with a price hike at the pump.
