Gang Member Arrested In Coachella; Bail Set At 1 Million Dollars

A 19-year-old man is under arrest for a shooting in September.
Deputies have arrested Juan Linares of Thermal, a documented criminal street gang member.
He is charged with attempted murder for firing a gun into a car on Airport Boulevard in Thermal back on September 27th.
No one inside the car was hit, and investigators don’t know why Linares fired shots at the car.
The Violent Crime Gang Task Force arrested Linares on Friday October 4th at 3:30 in the afternoon on Pinot Noir Lane in Coachella.
He’s being held on one million dollars bail.
