Florida Tops Taipei To Win Little League World Series

Lake Mary Florida, a town of 17-thousand people just north of Orlando, won the Little League World Series  2  to 1, with a perfect bunt in the 8th inning.

The winning run scored from 2nd base when the pitcher for Taipei threw the ball to first base but there was no 1st baseman, because the first baseman was charging in to try to field the bunt down the first base line.

The second baseman was not covering 1st base, and the pitcher threw the ball into right field.

You are not likely to ever see that type of play in the major leagues, because no one bunts sin the major leagues.   Everybody is worried about home runs, launch angles, and analytics.

No one is going to pay a player millions of dollars to lay down a bunt, which is why few people can do it in the major leagues.
