California won’t be sending any officials to Florida at taxpayers expense.

California has added Florida to its list of no-travel zones.  Other ‘off-limits’ states are Arkansas, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia.

Private citizens can visit the Sunshine State, but California officials won’t be going there.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta says the state of Florida has introduced bills in its state legislature that prevent transgender women and girls from participating in school sports. He claims  we are in the midst of discrimination in this country, the State of California will not support it.

The situation involving transgender athletes raises questions because a person who is born male, and lives the first 12, 15,  18 years of life as a male, and then transitions to become a female… gets to compete against girls who were born girls.

Parents of biological girls have a valid argument if their  daughters have  to compete against someone who is biologically a boy, but who is a transgender girl because she identifies with being a girl.
