Firefighters Continue Fight Against 3 SoCal Wildfires
- The Line Fire is burning between Highland, Running Springs, and Angelus Oaks. As of 4 AM Tues Sept 24th 2024 the fire has burned 39,232 acres, and is 75% contained. Justin Halstenberg remains in custody for starting the Line Fire, and possibly other fires as well.
Forest Closure –
- San Bernardino issued Forest Order NO. 05-12-00-24-09, creating a Forest Closure Area around the Line Fire. All National Forest lands, trails, and roads are closed to the public within that zone including San Gorgonio Wilderness

The Bridge Fire is burning in the San Gabriel Mountains between Glendora and Phelan. As of 4 AM Tues Sept 24th, the fire has burned 54,878 acres, and is 79% contained. The cause of The Bridge Fire is still unknown.

The Airport Fire is burning in the Santa Ana Mountains between Rancho Santa Margarita and Lake Elsinore in parts of Orange and Riverside Counties. As of 4 AM Tues Sept 24th 2024 the fire has burned 23,519 acres and is 81% contained. The Airport Fire was accidentally ignited by a spark from a public works crew using heavy equipment.
