The Firebirds are on a 3 game winning streak, after 2 weekend wins in Ontario Friday night 4 to 3, and Sunday at Acrisure Arena vs Ontario 4 to 2.
Alex Stezka stopped 37 shots to keep the Firebirds in the game Sunday November 10th, and Ryan Winterton’s goal late in the 2nd period was the game winner. 85-hundred fans were on hand at Acrisure.
Friday night November 8th 2024 Nikke Kokko was in goal, picking up his 4th win of the season. He is undefeated.
The Firebirds are spending the weekend in British Columbia, facing Abbotsford Friday and Saturday nights November 15th and 16th.
