Away from the glitz and glamour and  fame and fortune of being an elite pro tennis player, are the men and women in uniform who keep everyone safe, so there can be tennis tournaments and concerts.

On Friday, October 15th 2021, some of those unsung heroes on the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a home on Arabia Street in Indio.

Deputies arrested 26 year old Kelsey Lei Carroll of Indio on nine counts of burglary, nine counts of theft by false pretenses, and one count of shoplifting.

8-thousand dollars of stolen merchandise has been recovered.

There have been several commercial burglaries reported along Highway 111 in La Quinta between September 9th and October 3rd 2021.

This arrest is part of that investigation.
