A convicted felon in Banning was up to no good again.
But the Sheriff Departments Gang Task Force stopped him in his tracks.
On Saturday December 18th 2021 at 1:30 in the afternoon, deputies saw George Hernandez get out of his vehicle on East Theodore Street in Banning.
Hernandez had an active misdemeanor arrest warrant for drug possession.
A search warrant allowed deputies to search his car and they found a half a pound of methamphetamine, 30 grams of heroin, 25 hydrocodone pills, 15 fentanyl pills, and a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
Hernandez is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition.
