After 2 years of following the guidance of the federal government when it comes to Covid-19,  Americans are now being told by President Joe Biden that there’s no federal solution to the pandemic, and the fight against Covid-19 comes down to the individual states.

Americans have been looking to the feds since late 2019 and early 2020, when Covid-19 was ravaging the place where it originated, Wuhan China. That was before the virus even hit U-S shores.

Donald Trump was President. He was holding daily press conferences featuring Dr Anthony Fauci and Dr Deborah Birx, both of whom were hyped as credible government sources of information on Covid-19.

Speaking on a call with the nation’s governors on Monday December 27th 2021, President Biden said the current situation isn’t like March of 2020 when the pandemic began. He said the tools are in hand to keep schools and businesses open.

The President added his administration has focused on creating at-home coronavirus tests as a way to fight through the pandemic while keeping day to day life as normal as possible.

He said more support is coming to hospitals in all 50 states as the omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus is surging and causing health facilities to reach capacity in a few states.
