Ever Eager To Spend Someone Else’s Money, U-S Senator Bernie Sanders Proposes $17 Per Hour Federal Minimum Wage

U-S Senator Bernie Sanders, a liberal Independent, who votes along party lines with the Democrats, is at it again.
He is proposing a national minimum wage of 17-dollars per hour.
The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, which he chairs, will mark up the bill on June 14th 2023.
Sanders has been supporting a national minimum wage of 15 dollars per hour, but that has never come to fruition.
There are some states, California among them, and some cities…Los Angeles and San Francisco are two of them, which have adopted their own minimum wage, well above the federal minimum wage.
The federal minimum wage is seven-dollars and 25-cents an hour.
Sanders calls that level of pay “starvation wages.”
However no one is ever forced to take a job paying minimum wage or to stay at a job paying minimum wage.
All workers, whether in a labor union or not, have the option to leave a job and pursue a better job, or a least a job that pays higher wages.
Black wallet on the ground, with a couple of single dollar bills poking out of it.
