Despite the fact the State of California has a budget surplus of more than 31 billion dollars, that’s not stopping California Governor Gavin Newsom from asking the State Legislature to approve 2.7 billion dollars in emergency spending to deal with Covid-19.

The Governor will also be sending 200 California National Guard members to Covid-19 testing sites across the state to help.

All of this nearly 2 years after we first heard of something called the coronavirus…Covid-19.

Part of teh 2.7 billion dollars Newsom wants, will be spent to ‘battle misinformation’ as he calls it.

If you want information about testing or vaccines, go to www.rivcoph.org and click on coronavirus.  Or call 2-1-1.
