Drop Pot Tax In Cat City? City Council Not Hip On That Idea; Would Lose Nearly $1M In Revenue

Retail pot shops in Cathedral City, pay your taxes.
That’s the word store operators are getting from the City Council, which is in no mood to lose close to 9-hundred-thousand dollars in revenue, if it gave the pot shops a 6 month tax break from the city’s 10% marijuana tax.
For now, at least, the tax break idea is getting little support at the City Council level.
