Covid-19 Cases Still Climbing In Riverside County

2,847 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Riverside County, as of Tuesday morning April 21st 2020, an increase of 209 cases in 24 hours. 

 

There have been 85 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County, an increase of 10 in the past 24 hours.

23 of those deaths are in the Coachella Valley.

 

584 cases in the Coachella Valley;  An increase of 24 cases in the past day.

 

82 cases in Palm Springs, 9 dead  

22 in Rancho Mirage, 3 dead       

65 in Cathedral City, 1 dead      

75 in Palm Desert, 5 dead          

106 cases in Indio, 3 dead           

46 cases in La Quinta                 

27 cases each in Desert Hot Springs  

90 cases in Coachella, 2 dead   

10 in Indian Wells             

61 cases in unincorporated areas in the desert, 0 deaths   

3 cases in Idyllwild/Pine Cove

1 case in Cabazon, 1 dead

477 cases in Riverside,  16 dead  

303 cases in Moreno Valley, 11 dead    

1 case in Vista Santa Rosa, No cases in  North Shore

138 cases in Hemet, 4 dead;  36 cases in San Jacinto, 1 dead

5 cases in Anza

 

700 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus. 236 are hospitalized, and 76 of them are in Intensive Care. 

1,826 are isolated at home in various stages of recovery.

30,693 people have been tested so far.

 

Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio  from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, by appt only. Call 800-945-6171 to make an appointment, and you no longer need to have symptoms to schedule a test.
