Bill Cosby has been found liable in a civil suit brought against him by a woman who says Cosby sexually assaulted her when she was 16.

That was back in 1975, the attack taking place at the Playboy Mansion.

A jury in Santa Monica rendered a verdict on Tuesday June 21st 2022, in favor of Judy Huth.

There were no criminal charges filed because the case was past the statute of limitations.

But Cosby is being ordered to pay 500-thousand dollars to Huth. The case is the first to go to trial under the Child Victims Act, which protects adults who suffered abuse as children, and come forward with their accounts years later.
