Colorado Man Killed While Standing On Interstate 10 In Palm Springs

A 61 year old man from Colorado has been run over and killed, while he was standing in a lane of traffic on westbound Interstate 10 in Palm Springs just before you come to the exit for State Route 62.

Just after 6 in the evening on Monday November 6th 2023, the CHP was called to the scene, when the driver of a Nissan Maxima struck and killed Erasto Dominguez-Castro of Colorado Springs, who was standing in the slow lane of the freeway.

The driver of the Nissan Maxima was not hurt. He is a man from Arcadia California.

The CHP is trying to figure out why the victim was standing in the middle of a lane on the freeway during rush hour. Anyone with information regarding the crash, should call Officer DeYoung, at (760) 772-5300.
