College of the Desert Foundation Great Alumni Hunt Winners get their checks on the ice at Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms CA October 25th 2023

15-thousand dollars in scholarship money has been given to 20 students at College of the Desert.
It was all part of the COD Foundation’s Great Alumni Hunt.
It started as an “Amazing Race-style” competition 28-days ago, and culminated in check presentation on center ice at Acrisure Arena at a Firebirds game.
More than 12-hundred COD alumni were at the game.
The first-place student team of Alyson Booth and Mireya Holguin won a $3,000 scholarship.
