Chevron Leaving San Ramon CA, Moving To Houston TX

Chevron Oil has been in business in California for 140 years.

But 2024 will be its last.

It has been gradually relocating its operations to Texas and by the end of 2024, the move will be complete.  Chevron’s corporate headquarters will be moving in Houston TX.

Chevron says Houston is the epicenter of the oil industry, and the move has been underway for some time.

California has been hostile territory for oil and energy companies in general, banning off-shore oil drilling, setting up regulations that make it difficult to operate in California.
