Car Insurance Premiums Spike

Car insurance costs are increasing for hundreds of thousands of American drivers.

In some states, care insurance premiums are climbing 50% compared to one year ago.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, car insurance for U.S. drivers in July 2023 was 16-percent more expensive than in July 2022, and 70-percent more expensive than in 2013.

States prone to climate disasters have seen some of the steepest auto-rate hikes.

Plus, a driver’s car insurance can increase because of where they live,  what type of job they have,  their level of income and even…their level of education.
