Bighorn Charities Writes Big Check For Area Charities

BIGHORN Golf Club Charities will be donating 450-thousand dollars to 47 local charities.

The money is from the Bighorn Cares Grants program funded by Bighorn member donations.

Some of those charities are well known like Big Brothers  Big Sisters,  Boys and Girls Clubs, The Bob Hope USO, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, The Well in the Desert, and Martha’s Village.

Others like the Assistance League,  Desert Arc, Christopher’s Clubhouse,  Galilee Center, Family YMCA of the Desert,  FIND Food Bank, and Pegasus Riding Academy, are also sharing the money.

Bighorn Charities has given 8.3 million dollars to local charities since 2006.
