Bad Neighbors Doing Bad Things

Fighting with your neighbors is not a very neighborly thing to do, and firing a gun at your neighbors is even worse.

Yet just before midnight on Thursday November 7th 2024, 39 year old Christopher Felix of Mesa Verde decided to do both in a remote area just west of Blythe California.

First he was fighting with neighbors, though we don’t know why.

Then he grabbed a gun from his house and fired 6 shots, missing everyone.

Sheriffs deputies teamed up with the CHP to set up a perimeter around the house and eventually arrested Felix for assault with a deadly weapon.

No one was hurt.
