Are Circle K & 7-11 Headed For A Corporate Marriage??

Circle K, headquartered in Tempe Arizona, and owned by a corporation in Quebec Canada, operates nearly 15-thousand convenience stores around the world, close to 10-thousand of them in the United States.

And Circle K is looking to buyout 7-11 which is owned by a company in Japan, with U-S headquarters in Irving Texas.  7-11 operates and franchises 84-thousand convenience stores in 19 countries. Roughly 10% of those stores are in the United States.

Circle K’s owners have issued a preliminary takeover offer to 7-11, offering to buy all the outstanding shares of Seven & i, the parent company of 7-11 Stores.
