Two young men, too much to drink, wee hours of the morning, high-end car, not a happy ending.
At 12:30 a-m on Wednesday September 16th 2020, a 21 year old man from San Jacinto was killed when he lost control of his Lexus ES 350 sedan on Interstate 15 in San Diego County.
Traveling at high speed, he veered off the freeway near Hidden Meadows, spun across the center median, went up a grassy embankment, and crashed into a wire guardrail.
The car overturned and rolled back down that embankment, ejecting and killing the driver, and severely injuring his 21 year old friend, who was in the passenger seat.
Neither was wearing a seat belt. The CHP says alcohol played a role in the crash.
