Longtime union labor boss Richard Trumka has died.
He suffered a heart attack. He was 82.
Trumka worked as a coal miner in Pennsylvania as he attended college and law school, then gradually worked himself up the ranks of union leadership.
He has been President of the AFL-CIO since 2009.
