Abi Carter Of Indio In The Top 3 Of ‘American Idol’; Heads To The Finale
Singing Sensation Abi Carter of Indio has made it to the Top 3 on American Idol.
Sunday May 12th 2024 she performed “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid” and “The Chain” from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”.
Fans voted for her and she pushed through to the Top 3.
Will Moseley and Jack Blocker are in the Top 3 as well.
Emmy Russell and Triston Harper did not make the cut.
TOOLS FOR TOMORROW, a local non-profit that offers programs for desert kids interested in the arts, is celebrating the achievements of one of its alumni.
Abi Carter was in a Tools For Tomorrow program in 2010.
She was 7 years old at the time.
Now through hard work, determination, a dazzling personality, extraordinary stage presence far a woman who is only 21 years old, and unending talent, Abi Carter is capturing hearts and votes as she has vaulted into the Top 3 on American Idol.
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, DOWNTOWN INDIO will host a parade and concert
for ABI CARTER’s HOMETOWN VISIT.
PARADE – 6 PM on Miles Avenue – from Deglet Noor to Smurr Avenue
CONCERT – 7 PM Center Stage – 82881 Miles Avenue
Tools For Tomorrow is calling all of its STUDENTS, ALUMNI, VISIONARIES, BOARD MEMBERS, TEACHING ARTISTS, VOLUNTEERS to walk in the parade
- Meet at Miles, between Deglet Noor and Arabia St. at 5 PM
- Make/Bring a Poster (if you can – we will have extras)
- Wear a Solid Color Shirt (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green or Light Blue – If you have one)
- Prepare for 100 degree weather (Bring Water)
