4 Year Old Riverside County Child Dies From Covid-19

Children have seen the fewest numbers of cases and deaths from Covid-19.

But that is no consolation for the family of a four-year-old child from western Riverside County, who has died from Covid-19.

County health officials say the child died in early August, and had no other health problems.

This child is the 3rd to die from Covid-19 in Riverside County.

Comparatively In Riverside County, 2,317 people have died from Covid-19 in the 65 to 84 year old age group, and 917 people have died from Covid-19 in the 85 + age group.

Overall, off the 332-thousand-500 people who have have come down with Covid-19 in Riverside County, 96% of them have recovered.

660 are hospitalized in the county, 56 people are at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, 40 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, and 14 at JFK Hospital in Indio.
