SunBus Student Art Contest Underway; Deadline Is June 1st

SunLine Transit Agency has launched its 3rd Student Art Contest, encouraging local students from kindergarten through 8th grade  to submit entries.


The theme this year is ‘Sunline buses are important for the Coachella Valley and the environment.


Your piece of art could include buses, local buildings, mountains, palm trees, even windmills.


You must put the Sunline logo on the buses in your artwork.


No digital submissions please.  You have to use paint, markers, crayons or colored pencils.


The artwork must be 17 inches wide, and 11 inches high, in a horizontal form.


Put your name and school, age and teacher’s name on the back.


Deadline to submit your piece of art is June 1st.
