If you heard the show yesterday or read the business section of todays Desert Sun..you know that Marshall and Stone..Part II begins September 15th...Marshall Gilbert is coming back to KNWZ Radio...and I could not be happier...for those of you that watched the convention last night...She hit it out of the park..Senator Hillary Clinton looked, talked and is the best presidential candidate the Democrats have. Unfortunately she will not be the nominee...and ''the sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits'' need convincing that supporting Obama is the next best thing. I think people are going to look back...curse the super delegates...and when they swear in President McCain...think...Hillary could have beaten him....or Obama could have beaten him if he had not picked Biden and had picked Hillary Clinton...tonight..another night of Clinton magic...President Bill Clinton..sucks the air out of the hall...so Biden will not be able to breath....my predictions...all the pressure...after Hillarys speech last night..and with Bill's speech tonight...is on Obama...we shall see...on the Gary Stone Program today...we will talk all things political..we will take a short break at 4pm..and talk with Casey and Shelley..the new morning team of 93.7 KCLB..then back to the convention and predictions...see you at 3pm on the Gary Stone Program.. PENALTIES ON DOG LICENSES WAIVED FOR MONTH

Riverside County residents who neglected to purchase a license for their dog or failed to renew a license now have a chance to get one without penalties. The Department of Animal Services is offering a penalty amnesty until February 29th. They typically assess a $25 penalty for an overdue license application, but that fee is waived. The amnesty applies only to pet owners in unincorporated communities, and those whose dogs have been altered.

NEW CHAIRMAN OF HIGH-SPEED RAIL IS APPOINTED

The California High-Speed Rail authority has a new chairman. The board appointed Dan Richard to the position. Richard is Governor Brown's choice to lead the volatile project that's seen its price tag more than doubled since 2008.
