Three young men and one 117 year-old were arrested following a drive-by shooting in Hemet just before midnight Sunday. A 5-year-old boy was shot and his grandmother was injured when she fell out of her wheelchair trying to help the boy. The 3 suspects, all age 18, are Romel Matthew Kelley of San Jacinto, Quan Kyle Police of Colton and Bernard Mann of Hemet. They’re charged with assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony and shooting at an inhabited dwelling. The group is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. The shooting occurred in the 300 block of North Ramona Boulevard. Police say the unidentified victims will recover. The suspects were arrested in a Nissan Altima at a traffic stop – a gun found a few blocks away was booked as evidence.
