Sunday kicked off a series of fashion shows at Don Diego's in Indian Wells to raise money for Martha's Village and Kitchen. The fashion shows will run from 4 to 6 p.m. every other Sunday. Money from a silent auction and raffle tickets will go directly to the shelter. A percentage of clothing sales will also be given to Martha's. The restaurant is offering half-priced cocktails and a happy hour menu with $1 tacos and burritos during the events. Julie Hinkle, president of Rafael of Palm Springs, says she is still looking for more volunteer models. If you are interested in participating simply show up Sunday, August 22nd to find out more.
