About 200 people were trapped at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Wednesday. The tram was shut for about two and a half hours due to technical difficulties. Public Affairs Manager Lena Zimmerschied said that as of 1:45 p.m. the tram was back to normal operation. The exact problem was not yet been determined, but wind may have been a factor.
